weddings all around .....

Well this is my first proper posting on my blog, so I'm a little nervous, for ages I've wanted to start my own blog but looking at all the wonderful blogs out there, i was worried i wouldn't have a clue. Thanks to some lovely people out there, you've given me advice and support to go for it so here we go ......

Firstly i wanted to share with you some cards that i have previously made for friends, I'm not sure whats in the air this year but I've never had to make so many wedding cards in such a short space of time. A little while ago me and my son decided to go the the big rubber stamp & Scrapbooking show at the ally pally in London, this was my first craft fair and all very exciting. I stumbled on to the Lili of the Valley stall and instantly fell in love with there rubber stamps, of course i had to purchased a few lol.

I purchased The Wedding couple stamp, i have used this so many times already and i love it. so no doubt you'll see more of this little beauty as i go along.

I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities for this card, to get the small border i used a tutorial from Bev this is so simple to do and i use it all the time on my projects now.

I used linen effect white card, and decided to go to a easel card, i love doing these sorts of cards, I used my Polychromos pencils to colour the image.

Embellishments i used were:

Burgundy organza ribbon,

Pearl hearts

Various handmade flowers, some inked

Ms branch punch

Gold peel offs

Computer Generated sentiment

My next card is all cream, i find it really hard to do a card with very little colour and it took me a few days to decide what to do but i was really happy with the results.

You can't really see on the pic but i went embossed my card with my Cuttlebug folders and then put a thin border of glitter around the outside of each section. I used my pencils again on this stamp.

Embellishments:

Pearl Hearts

Cream organza ribbon

Computer generated sentiment

and lastly a white & red easel card....i know a very long post, so hopefully your still with me lol

Again i used my Cuttlebug folders and glittered around the outside of each section, i coloured the image with my pencils and put on a computer generated sentiment. I also made boxes for all my cards to match them

Embellishments:

Red card stock

Red ribbon

Red dew drops

Handmade flowers dyed red

Ms branch Punch

well Phew...... it's only taken me most of the day to do my first proper post so lets hope i get a little quicker lol, and whoever may come and have a peek I'd like to say thank you for taking a look

hugs

Tanya
